Terms of Service and Public Offer

These terms govern access to Slopp.tools, an online video transcription service. By creating an account, uploading a video, or paying for a subscription, you accept these terms.
1. Service
Slopp.tools provides software that accepts video files, extracts audio, runs OpenAI Whisper transcription, returns the resulting text and SRT subtitle file, and stores transcription history under your account.
The service is fully digital. Nothing is shipped physically. Access is provided online through the web application after Google sign-in.
2. Account and eligibility
- An account is required to upload videos, run transcriptions, and access paid subscription features.
- You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that Google account, your subscription status, and your transcription history under your control.
- You must have the right to upload, store, and process the audio and video content you submit for transcription.
- The service is offered to adult users for personal or business use.
3. Subscriptions and limits
- Each new account gets a small daily free allowance of short videos so the product can be evaluated.
- Paid subscription is yearly. The currently offered plan grants 50 transcription hours per subscription year for videos up to 10 hours long and files up to 5 GB.
- Yearly subscriptions auto-renew at the end of the billed year unless cancelled.
- You can cancel future renewals from the workspace. The current paid period remains available until it ends.
4. Payments
- RUB payments are processed by YooKassa.
- USD payments are processed by LemonSqueezy.
- The selected currency determines the payment provider automatically. Card and method availability can depend on the provider, country, bank, and card.
- Slopp.tools does not store full card numbers, CVV, or 3DS codes. Card data is entered on the provider's hosted payment page.
5. Refunds
- You can request a refund within 14 days of payment if a technical issue prevents access to the paid digital service and we cannot resolve it in a reasonable time.
- Refunds are not issued for transcription hours that have already been substantially used or for a period during which the service was successfully provided.
- To request a refund, email olegstefanoyv1@gmail.com with the account email, payment date, amount, currency, and a description of the issue.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through YooKassa or LemonSqueezy. Processing usually takes 5-10 business days after approval.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to process content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property, contains child sexual abuse material, incites violence, or violates applicable laws or platform rules.
- Do not upload content that you do not have the right to process or store.
- Whisper transcription is automated and can produce mistakes, especially for noisy audio, mixed languages, or specialised terminology. You remain responsible for reviewing the output.
- We may suspend or terminate access if use creates legal, security, payment, or abuse risk.
7. Intellectual property and data
- The Slopp.tools software, interface, brand, and documentation belong to us or our licensors.
- Your uploaded videos, extracted audio, transcription text, and SRT files remain yours or your licensors'.
- You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transcribe, secure, and display your content for providing the service.
- Source videos and extracted audio are deleted after processing. Resulting transcripts and metadata are kept in your history until you delete them or your account.
- Personal data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and limitation of liability
- The service is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep it stable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect transcription accuracy, or specific processing times.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, lost data, decisions made from automated transcription output, or third-party provider outages.
- Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these terms when the service, payment flow, legal requirements, or provider rules change. The current version is published on this page.
